There are four main ukulele sizes: soprano, concert, tenor and baritone. These can be loosely catagorised by their scale length (i.e. the distance between the nut and the bridge – the part of the strings that you play).

Soprano Size: 33 cm / 13 inches
Concert Size: 38 cm / 15 inches
Tenor Size: 43 cm / 17 inches
Baritone Size: 48 com / 19 inches

The total length of the ukulele varies depending on the construction.

I have a vintage Ululele; however, I would like to know how old it is, etc. Where can I get help on this? The paper sticker inside the Ululele shows, “Decca UKULELE Imported by Decca Distributing Corp. New York, N.Y., U.S.A. Made in Japan”. On the back of the headstock, the marks “Japan” is inscribed. It has a black plastic fret board. It is about 20 1/2″ long and has 4 strings.

I would appreciate any information about this Ukulele.

There is also the very rare bass ukulele. About the size of a guitar with very thick strings

Brah, you got your order mixed up on ukes. the smallest is the concert and the next step up is the soprano, then the tenor and the baritone.
